A leading e-commerce platform based in Austin is seeking a Python Developer for a fully remote position. You’ll be responsible for developing scalable backend systems and integrating third-party APIs using Python, Flask, and FastAPI. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build features that enhance the platform’s performance and scalability.

Required Skills & Experience:

2-3 years of experience in Python development
Proficiency in Flask, FastAPI, or Django frameworks
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) and containerization (Docker)

Desired Skills & Experience:

Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
Experience with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

Daily Responsibilities:

Design and develop backend systems and services using Python and Flask
Integrate third-party APIs and build RESTful APIs for the platform
Collaborate with DevOps engineers to ensure smooth deployment
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning
Debug and optimize backend services for performance and scalability

Salary: $140,000 – $160,000
